Creating the Paper Background

 NOTE: I did not create this process. I used this YouTube video by Butch Curry.

SOFTWARE: This process is done using Adobe Photoshop. I am not sure how to do this in other types of software.

Step 1: Create a new document. For this example I used an 8 in x 8 in, CMYK, with 600 resolution.

Step 2: Go to menu bar: Filter > Render > Clouds











Step 3: Add "fill/adjustment layer", select colorize, adjust as desired.









Step 4: Select the layer with the "cloud" background. Filter > Render > Emboss. Adjust as desired.
